What is The Firehouse Run?

-The Firehouse Run was founded by The Santa Clara Firefighters’ Foundation. We are a non-profit event with 100% volunteers. All proceeds are donated to the Santa Clara Schools Foundation.

What's included with the 5K race registration?

-Packet pick up for 5K race registration includes:

-2023 Race shirt: pre-shrunk ring spun cotton/poly blend

-Gift bag

-Race bib with timing chip

-Access to watch Junior Firefighter Race

-Awards ceremony

-Post race event

Where do I pick up my packet?

-Packet Pickup Saturday 12/16/23 10:00am-2:00pm at Road Runner Sports Campbell

When is the event? 

-The 9th Annual Firehouse Run will take place on Sunday Dec 17th at Santa Clara University—Stevens Stadium.

-If you are participating in the Virtual Race, it will be available from Dec 4th-13th. Packet pick up and medals are available to pick up Dec 16th at Road Runner Sports in Campbell. If you are unable to pick up your packet, we will mail out packets to virtual registrants. Please submit your time by 11:59pm on Dec 13th. Top finishers will be notified via email and receive a medal.

Where is the event?

-The 9th Annual Firehouse Run will take place at Stevens Stadium at Santa Clara University. The course will be a loop around downtown Santa Clara and ending inside Stevens Stadium.

-If you are signed up for the Virtual Race, you can complete your 5K anywhere. Some places to complete your virtual 5K are in your neighborhood, on a track, on a treadmill or trail. Just be sure to submit your time online on the event page. 5K is equivalent to 3.1 miles.

Are strollers allowed on the course? 

Yes, we allow strollers. This is a family friendly event, and we encourage your family to participate. Please start at the back of the pack and keep to the right when navigating the course to allow other participants to safely pass.

Are dogs allowed on the course?

Dogs are not allowed on the course for safety reasons. Service dogs are always welcome.

Will there be first aid or police officers available? 

Yes, we will have first aid stations with medical personnel and police officers on standby at the event.

Covid 19 precautions?

Covid 19 restrictions have been lifted and we do not require proof of vaccination. Masks are not required but if you are sick, please stay home.

How do I enter my 5K Virtual time? 

-If you have registered for the Virtual 5K, between 12/04-12/13, you will be able to submit your results here. This link will also be available through our event page, Race Roster, for you to enter your times. You will need to enter your confirmation number and last name to post your time. You will also need to post a screenshot of your time to upload your time. Top finishers will be contacted by email.

Rideshare (Uber and Lyft) Drop Off/Pick Up

The best place to be dropped of for the Firehouse Run on Sunday is at the shopping center across the street. 495 El Camino Real Santa Clara 95050. The event start and finish line is at Stevens Stadium.
